To mark National Music Day, which falls in March, this month’s Friday Fusion comes with the theme #FestivalOfThe90s. On March 20, 2020, Friday Fusion will present two bands who found fame in the 90s, Element and Base Jam.
Mixing pop and rock genres, Element was founded in 1999. This band, now going strong in the music industry for 21 years, has released many popular songs including ‘Rahasia Hati’, ‘Cinta Tak Bersyarat’, ‘Pergilah Adinda’ and ‘Seumur Hidupku’. The 6-member band has released 6 albums so far. In addition to music, Element members have also participated in many social initiatives such as Yayasan Cinta Kita and Yayasan Cinta Anak Bangsa.
Anyone from the ’90s generation must be familiar with Base Jam, who are especially known for the song ‘Bukan Pujangga’. Formed in 1994, the band’s music is firmly in the pop genre and they have released 7 albums during their time on the Indonesian music scene. After several years’ hiatus, in 2015 Base Jam released the album ‘Base Jam Reunion 21 Tahun’.
Friday Fusion has introduced the concept of an ‘intimate concert’ where the audience can enjoy the music of their favorite performers while enjoying a range of dining options from the tenants at Coca-Cola SQ Dome.
